The IMD scientist said that the maximum temperature in Delhi will fall to 31-32 degrees Celsius for the next 3-4 days. The minimum temperature will gradually increase and both will increase after 3-4 days due to the weakening of the surface winds.

He further said that in Gujarat, we are going with orange alert due to the scorching heat and from tomorrow, we will have a yellow alert. The scorching heat will continue in Odisha, so red alert is being given in the state till tomorrow. Heatwave conditions will continue in Jharkhand and Bengal with yellow alert for two to three days. Then it will be reduced. Orange alert is also expected in East Arunachal, Eastern Assam and Manipur with strong winds.
