Prachanda on Friday addressed a program of his party in Sindhupalachouk district. He said that the murder was carried out by the people of the royal family. During this, he made serious allegations against former King Gyanendra and said, ‘Who killed his own brother?’

The murder took place on the night of 1 June 2001

The entire family of Birendra, including Rani Aishwarya and Yuvraj Deepender, was mysteriously killed on the night of June 1, 2001. However, the official inquiry committee constituted after the incident said in its report that Yuvraj Deepender had killed all the people of his family before killing himself, but many people rejected the report.

Former king also accused of smuggling gold

Prachanda also accused former King Gyanendra of being involved in gold smuggling and theft of idols. He said, “The one who used to steal big idols earlier is now trying to become king.”

Prachanda reminded that when he became Prime Minister earlier, he had announced a re -investigation into the palace murder case, but it could not happen. He said, “If I had completed a five -year term, it would have been possible to punish the traitor.”

Prachanda warns the former emperor

Prachanda warned the former emperor that the federal democratic republic has been established by people’s sacrifices and cannot be taken away by bringing only 10,000 to 15,000 people on the road. He also appealed to the people to participate in the grand rally to be held in Kathmandu on March 28 against the monarchy supporters.
