There will be a national session of the All India Congress Committee in April in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The 139 -year -old party will have this conference in Gujarat for the third time. Earlier, the National Conference was held in 1936 and 1961. After 64 years of 1961, this conference will be held in Gujarat. Gujarat Congress state president Shakti Singh Gohil thanked the party high command on behalf of the people of Gujarat for giving the opportunity to organize the conference. He said that preparations for the session have been started.

The session of the All India Congress Committee will be held in Ahmedabad on 8-9 April. The party said that it will discuss the anti-people policies of the BJP, attack on the constitution and the outline of the party’s future. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said on Sunday that the upcoming conference will not only give a platform for important deliberations, but will also work to remove the concerns of the common people and present a strong alternative approach to the nation.

According to the program, the Congress Working Committee (CWC) will meet on April 8. This will be followed by a meeting of All India delegates on April 9. Venugopal had said that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will preside over both meetings. It will include Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, all Chief Ministers, National Officers, Senior Party leaders and other AICC representatives of the Congress ruled states.
