Maruti Suzuki has orders pending more than 2.25 lakh units. The company’s Senior Executive Officer (Marketing and Sales), Partho Baneerjee said that more than 40,000 of these pending orders are recently launched for the new Swift. Apart from this, around 75,000 orders are from CNG variants. The company contributes more than 32 percent of CNG cars. It is getting a lot of demand for Brezza and Artiga’s CNG variants. The waiting period for them is four to six weeks. The company’s Arena sales outlets have reached 3,000. It has these outlets in more than 2,500 cities and towns. The company opened the first Arena outlet in 2017.
The company has also opened Nexa dealerships to provide more premium experience to customers. It sells Wagonr, Swift, Brezza, Dzire, Ertiga, EECO, Alto K10, Celerio and S-Presso through the Arena Network. Recently, Maruti Suzuki launched a new version of Hatchers Swift. Its initial price is 6.49 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). It is available in nine exterior color options, three dual-tones and two new gender blue and novel orange colors. The engine has also been upgraded with a change in design in the new Swift. Its interior has also been made better than the previous version. It also has new features.
The new Swift has a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine. It generates 80 bhp power and 112 Nm torque. It is available in five-speed manual and five-speed AMT gearbox. The company has claimed its mileage to exceed 25 kmpl. It has a 7 -inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity. Its top variant has features like 9 -inch touchscreen, 360 degree camera, wireless charging and rear AC vent. The new Swift provides six airbags and electronic stability control for safety.
