Today (January 30), Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju was convened in Parliament on the budget session. Apart from NDA, floor leaders of the opposition party also attended the meeting. Opposition parties said that they would raise the issue of mismanagement in Maha Kumbh, due to which 30 people died. Opposition parties said that they need more transparency in the official calculation of the dead and the injured. The SP said that Kumbh is being called Mahakumbh to attract only more pilgrims. The opposition said that they will raise the issue of the “biased” functioning of the Cuff Committee, the fall in the rupee and the UGC rules.
