A case of kidnapping and sexual exploitation of a woman resident of Vijaynagar area of ​​Ghaziabad and then converting her to Islam has come to light. On the complaint of the woman’s husband, the police have registered a case against the accused Imran and arrested him.

In the complaint given to the police, the woman’s husband told that he was married to a girl resident of Khoda area in December 2023. His wife used to talk to a young man named Imran who lived in Khoda. He came to know about this after several months. On January 9, his wife went somewhere without informing him. When no information was found even after extensive searching, he filed a missing complaint in the police station. After several days he came to know that his wife had gone with Imran.

The woman told during interrogation that Imran took her to many mosques. Both kept roaming in Delhi and Ghaziabad. The woman’s husband alleges that an attempt has been made to convert his wife. ACP Kavinagar Ritesh Tripathi said that a case has been registered against Imran in Vijayanagar police station under sections 87, 3 and 4 of BNS.
