The friendship and feud between Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha is not hidden from anyone. Both of them had worked together in many great films like Bombay to Goa, Shaan and Naseeb. However, there was a time when Amitabh Bachchan was a newcomer and Shatrughan Sinha had star status. In such a situation, many times Shatrughan Sinha used to get pushed by Amitabh Bachchan when his Khatara car stopped.

Some time ago, Amitabh Bachchan had reached the show Yaaron Ki Baaraat with Shatrughan Sinha. During this, while talking to Sajid Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh, Amitabh talked about the days spent with Shatrughan Sinha in the early days of his career. He said that when Shatrughan Sinha was a star, he used to spend most of his time in his house. In the entire group, only Shatrughan Sinha had a car, so wherever he had to go, he used to go by his car, but that car was very old.

Amitabh Bachchan told that once he had to go from Bandra to Colaba to watch a film. Shatrughan Sinha took out the car and everyone sat in it. The car reached half way and broke down. Shatrughan Sinha used to sit in the car with great attitude and used to say to him, Come on man, push the car. In such a situation, all the friends used to push the car together on Marine Drive and Shatrughan Sinha used to give orders while sitting in the car. This happened not once but many times, when Shatrughan Sinha got pushed by his friends when his car broke down.

Amitabh-Shatrughan had a fight in the sets of Kala Patthar

It is said that as soon as Amitabh Bachchan became popular, there was a rift in their friendship. Both remained cut off from each other. The enmity between the two became public when they had a fight on the sets of the film Kala Patthar. According to the scene, both of them were to beat each other, but as soon as the scene started, Amitabh started beating one sided. During this, Shashi Kapoor had intervened to stop the fight.

Due to the fight, the shooting of Kala Patthar was stopped for 3-4 hours. After this incident, Shatrughan Sinha somehow completed the film, but never worked with Amitabh again. He also returned the signing amount of the films he had signed.

Shatrughan Sinha had written about this fight in his biography, I was getting the fame Amitabh Bachchan wanted in films. Amitabh was troubled by this. I was never offered a chair next to Amitabh on the sets of Kaala Patthar. While going from the location to the hotel after the shooting, Amitabh never offered me to come in his car. I was surprised to see why this was happening. But I never complained about anything. There are many films which I left for Amitabh. What’s more, I even returned the signing amount to the producer.

After years, their relationship has improved. Both have been seen together on many occasions.
