On the occasion of Christmas in Delhi, the major churches of the capital are becoming vibrant. The churches of GPO, Lodhi Road, Saket, Vasant Kunj and Old Delhi have been specially decorated. Colorful lights, Christmas trees, stars and twinkling bulbs are painting the entire area in festive colors.

On the occasion of Christmas, a series of prayer meetings have started in churches. A large number of devotees are reaching the GPO Church, which includes tourists from other states besides Delhi. Special security arrangements have been made here. At the same time, long queues of people were seen in the church located on Lodhi Road since morning. People who arrived with the family were seen praying by lighting candles.

Small markets are also decorated outside the churches for Christmas. Santa Claus hat, Christmas tree, stars, candles and other decoration items are being purchased here. Children especially look very excited wearing the costume of Santa Claus. Special programs have been organized for children in many churches, where gifts were also distributed to them. Christmas in Delhi is no longer limited to just the Christian community.

A large number of Hindu, Sikh and Muslim families are also reaching the church to join in the joy of this festival. AK Paul, associated with the Christian community, said that Christmas gives the message of love, peace and brotherhood, hence they come to church on this day every year. At the same time, people told that Christmas is being celebrated not only in Delhi but also in the country and the world. The administration has also made strict security arrangements on the occasion of Christmas. Police forces are deployed around the churches and special arrangements have been made to keep the traffic system smooth, so that the devotees do not face any kind of trouble. A day before Christmas, the atmosphere of Delhi seems to be filled with lights, prayers and happiness.

Worldmark Aerocity decorated on Christmas theme

To give a London vibe, Worldmark Aerocity is decorated with a 25 feet high installation inspired by Piccadilly Circus, a 16 feet long iconic London double-decker bus, Victorian-style decor, traditional telephone boxes, nutcrackers and twinkling fairy lights. The entire complex is giving the feel of the streets of London during Christmas, where people are seen taking lots of photographs.
