Akshaye Khanna starrer film ‘Dhurandhar’ is currently ruling the box office. The film has done a worldwide business of Rs 900 crore within 19 days.

Akshay is getting a lot of love and praise for his character. But meanwhile there is news that the actor has separated from ‘Drishyam-3’ after the success of Dhurandhar.

According to a report in Bollywood Machine, Akshay has backed out of the successful franchise film ‘Drishyam-3’. The actor has decided to walk away from the film due to financial and creative differences with the makers of the film.

The report also states that after the huge success of Dhurandhar, Akshay had demanded a change in his fees and look. But her makers were not in favor of her decision, which reportedly led to differences between the two during pre-production discussions.

According to the report, talks between Akshay and the makers got stuck and neither party was willing to compromise. Because of this Akshay decided to withdraw from the project. However, till now the actor or the production team has not issued any official statement yet.

Let us tell you that like Akshay, Dhurandhar’s lead hero Ranveer Singh has distanced himself from Don-3 being made under the direction of Farhan Akhtar. On December 23, there were reports that the actor has taken this decision after the success of Dhurandhar.

Pinkvilla had written quoting the source that Ranveer does not want to be seen in gangster films one after the other. Especially when Dhurandhar has already made her mark in this genre. He now wants to work with filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Atlee.
