A massive explosion occurred on Tuesday afternoon in a nursing home named Bristol Health and Rehab Center near Philadelphia in the US state of Pennsylvania. The blast caused a portion of the building to collapse and many people were injured. According to officials, there is a possibility that some people may be trapped inside.
The blast occurred around 2:17 pm local time. Earlier, there was a complaint of gas smell in the nursing home, after which the team of the gas company arrived for investigation. During this time there was a sudden explosion. Black smoke was seen rising from the incident site and there was chaos in the area. Fire brigade, ambulance and relief teams immediately reached the spot.
Police said all residents have been evacuated, but it is not yet clear whether anyone is missing. Gas and electricity supply has been stopped. Investigation is going on to find out the real reason for the accident.

A private jet plane crashed shortly after taking off from Turkey’s capital Ankara on Tuesday night. A total of 8 people, including Libyan Army Chief General Mohammed Ali Ahmed al-Haddad, died in this accident.
According to Libyan officials, the plane had a technical fault, which led to the accident. The Libyan military delegation had come to Ankara for high-level talks with Turkey to enhance defense cooperation and was returning back to Libya.
