AIDS cases have increased by 200% in Pakistan in the last 15 years. According to the report of Pakistani newspaper Dawn, new cases of HIV in 2010 were 16,000. This will increase to 48,000 in 2024. This information has been given by UNAIDS associated with WHO on World AIDS Day.
The group said that earlier HIV was limited to only a few high-risk groups, but now it is reaching children, wives and common people.

Former Honduran President Hernandez released from US prison; Trump pardons drug trafficking conviction
Former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez has been released from US prison. President Donald Trump last week pardoned Hernandez’s sentence in drug trafficking cases. Hernandez was released from USP Hazleton, a high-security prison in West Virginia, on Monday.
In March 2024, Hernandez was found guilty of conspiring to smuggle cocaine into the United States and possessing a machine gun. The court sentenced him to 45 years in prison and a fine of $8 million.
Trump said on social media that Hernandez was treated very harshly and unfairly. After this he forgave them.
Hernandez was the President of Honduras from 2014 to 2022. In 2022, he was extradited to America and put on trial.
The US accused him of running the country like a ‘narco-state’ and taking million-dollar bribes from drug traffickers so they could escape the law.
His release comes at a time when the presidential election in Honduras is very closely contested. There is a difference of only 515 votes between right-wing candidate Nasri Asfura and centrist candidate Salvador Nasralla.

Report- Venezuelan President Maduro requested Trump to grant him legal immunity; Asked for immunity in exchange for giving up power
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro told Trump that he was ready to give up power, but he and his family should get full legal immunity.
According to news agency Reuters, Maduro spoke to Trump on phone on November 21. Maduro had appealed to Trump to let him go safely.
He had said that if America gives complete legal immunity (immunity) to him and his entire family, then he is ready to leave power.
Apart from this, he demanded removal of all the sanctions, closure of the ongoing International Criminal Court (ICC) case against him and removal of sanctions against more than 100 of his officials related to allegations of corruption, drug trafficking and human rights violations.
Trump had completely rejected all the conditions and gave only one week’s time to Maduro to go wherever he wanted with his family. That one-week deadline expired last Friday.
Immediately after the deadline, Trump suddenly announced the closure of Venezuela’s entire airspace. Trump said on November 23 that he had spoken to Maduro, but declined to provide any further information. The White House has also not given any information regarding this yet.
The conversation followed 21 military actions by the US Navy in the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean. In fact, America is destroying drug smuggling boats by launching missile attacks on them.
America claims that these boats were linked to the Venezuelan drug smuggling gang, which America has declared a terrorist organization. At least 83 people have died so far in these attacks.
Trump has repeatedly threatened that if necessary, US troops could land on Venezuelan soil. Maduro and his allies vehemently reject all these allegations and accuse the US of trying to remove him from office in order to grab Venezuela’s oil and natural resources.
Trump invites Israeli PM Netanyahu to visit White House; talked on the phone
US President Donald Trump has invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit the White House. Netanyahu’s office gave this information after a phone conversation between the two leaders on Tuesday evening.
