Putin came to India on Thursday. Modi welcomed him. Also presented a copy of Gita written in Russian language.
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived on a two-day visit to India on December 4 for the 23rd India-Russia Summit. Earlier, Putin had visited India in 2021. To receive him, PM Modi himself broke the protocol and went to Palam Airport.
Modi welcomed Putin with a hug at the airport. After this, both the leaders left Putin’s luxury car Aurus Senate and reached the PM’s residence in a white Toyota Fortuner, where a private dinner was given in the honor of the Russian President.
According to CarInfo, this vehicle is registered in the name of an Additional Police Commissioner of Mumbai. Modi presented a copy of Geeta written in Russian language to Putin.
Putin paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat on 5 December. Here he heard the hymns ‘Raja Ram’ and ‘Vaishnav Jan To’. After this he reached Hyderabad House for a meeting with Modi.

Red Carpet Welcome (4th December)-
On Thursday evening, PM Modi broke protocol and reached the airport to receive Putin.
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived on a two-day visit to India on Thursday evening at 7 pm. Modi was already present at Delhi airport to receive him.
Modi welcomed Putin on the red carpet. During this, both the leaders hugged each other.
Welcome with classical dance and lamps-
Putin was welcomed with classical dance at Palam Airport on Thursday evening. Putin and Modi encouraged the artists by clapping.
‘Welcome Putin’ was written with lamps during the Ganga Aarti in Varanasi on Thursday to welcome Putin.
On Thursday in Odisha, sand artist Manas Kumar Sahu made a picture of Putin on sand to welcome him.
Reached PM residence together-
PM Modi and President Putin left for the PM residence from Palam airport in the same car. It was a Toyota SUV.
It was a white colored Toyota Fortuner Sigma 4. According to CarInfo, this vehicle is registered in the name of an Additional Police Commissioner of Mumbai and was registered at Mumbai Central RTO. The Fortuner in which Modi and Putin sat together, was followed by the Prime Minister’s Range Rover and Putin’s luxury car Aurus Senate.
Russian President Putin, along with Modi, reached the PM’s residence on Lok Kalyan Marg at 8 pm on Thursday night.
PM Modi welcomed Putin at his official residence. While sharing this picture on social media, Modi called Putin his friend.
Gita written in Russian language was presented to Putin-
PM Modi and Putin were seen shaking hands and smiling at the Prime Minister’s residence.
On Thursday, PM Modi presented Geeta written in Russian language to President Putin. While sharing this picture, he wrote – Geeta’s teachings inspire millions of people around the world.
