For the last few days, many discussions have been going on on social media regarding the marriage of World Cup winner Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal. Their wedding, which was to be held on November 23, was suddenly postponed, due to which even the fans were quite surprised. Now for the first time, Palash’s sister and singer Palak Muchhal has spoken openly on this entire matter.
Palak Muchhal told the truth
In a conversation with Filmfare, Palak Muchhal expressed her views on this issue for the first time. He was asked how difficult it is to stay positive in what the family is going through? Palak said on this, “Our family is going through a very difficult time. Like you said, we just believe that maintaining positivity is most important at this time. We are trying to stay strong and spread positivity.”
Why was the marriage postponed? What happened on 23 November
Between 22–23 November, a mountain of troubles suddenly fell upon both the families. Smriti Mandhana’s father Srinivas Mandhana’s health suddenly deteriorated on the day of the wedding and he had to be admitted to the hospital in Sangli. Shortly after this, Palash Muchhal’s health also deteriorated and he too was taken to the hospital. Now the health of both is better and both have been discharged. These two big incidents became the reason for postponing the marriage. Both the families are not in a position to decide on a new date at present.
Discussions increased after Smriti deleted the post
After the postponement of the wedding, the most talked about thing on social media was that Smriti Mandhana removed all the posts related to the wedding from her Instagram. However, some normal pictures with his palash still exist. Along with this, both Smriti and Palash added evil eye emoji in their Insta bio, after which the rumors intensified.

Meanwhile, Palash was spotted at the airport a few days ago, where he looked quite calm. After this, another picture of his went viral, in which he was seen wearing a mask and meeting Premanand Maharaj at Shri Hit Radha Kelly Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan. These pictures raised more questions on social media as to what both the families are going through.

However, till now no official information has been revealed from both the families about when the marriage will take place.
