The report of a parliamentary committee of Pakistan has made a very shocking revelation regarding the situation of Hindus inside the neighboring country. The number of religious places of Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan is also continuously decreasing. According to a report, out of 1817 Hindu temples and Gurudwaras in Pakistan, now only 37 are in working condition. These figures highlight a grim reality.
A recent report presented before the Parliamentary Committee on Minority Caucus revealed that out of 1,285 Hindu temples and 532 Gurudwaras across Pakistan, only 37 are in working condition. Other religious places are falling into disrepair due to poor government maintenance and the declining population of Hindus and Sikhs.
According to a local newspaper, this situation has arisen due to the indifference of the government. After being elected as the convenor of the committee, Senator Danish Kumar pledged that the caucus will make efforts to materialize the constitutional promises of minority protection. In the first session of the committee, he stressed that the minorities of Pakistan were being deprived of constitutional rights. He said that immediate policy reforms should be implemented to ensure justice and equality.
During this, committee member Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani strongly criticized the Evacuee Trust Property Board. Said that he has completely failed to take care of the temples and Gurudwaras under his jurisdiction. The panel members expressed confidence that the Forum will no longer allow the rights of minorities to be violated.

25 percent increase in terrorist incidents in Pakistan by 2025: Think tank report
Terrorism is increasing again in Pakistan and violent incidents are expected to increase by 25 percent in 2025. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the most affected. This was revealed in a report released on Wednesday by the Islamabad-based think tank Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS). According to the CRSS, more than 96 percent of the total 3,187 deaths recorded from January to November 2025 and 92 percent of all incidents of violence occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
The report says that 2,546 people were killed in 2024, which is an increase of about 20 percent from last year. There were 2,546 deaths and 1,981 injuries in 2024. These included civilians, security personnel and militants killed in action against terrorists. 1,188 violent incidents were recorded this year. These included terrorist attacks and retaliatory actions. This mostly happened in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. According to reports, violence in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has peaked in recent months following rising tensions and clashes with Afghanistan. The Pakistan government says that the banned organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) resumed attacks after the ceasefire was broken in November 2022.
