A woman and a child were tragically killed, while more than 30 people were seriously injured in a horrific head-on collision between a private bus and a mixer tipper (dumper) near Gopalpura on the Amritsar-Pathankot main road on Wednesday night. As soon as information about the accident was received, there was chaos on the spot. The condition of many of the injured is said to be critical, due to which the death toll is expected to increase.
