Fast bowler Mohit Sharma, who played 120 IPL, 26 ODI International and 8 T20 International matches, has surprised everyone by suddenly retiring. This 37 year old fast bowler last played for the country 10 years ago in 2015. Mohit Sharma, who took 134 wickets in IPL, took 31 wickets in ODI and six wickets in T20 International.
Mohit Sharma retired from all formats of cricket
Mohit Sharma announced his retirement on social media. He wrote in an Instagram post, “Today I announce my retirement from all formats of cricket. Be it playing for Haryana, or for the country or IPL, this journey has been no less than a blessing for me. Many thanks to the Haryana Cricket Association for being the backbone of my career. I also thank Anirudh sir wholeheartedly. What he did for me cannot be expressed in words.”
Mohit Sharma took 27 wickets in IPL 2023
Mohit Sharma made his debut for India in T20 International in 2014. He played ODI match for the country for the first time in 2013. Mohit also made his debut in IPL in 2013. Mohit last played international cricket in 2015. After this, he was out of Team India for 10 years.
