According to the sources of Telecom Department, usually this app is downloaded 60,000 times every day, but on Tuesday this number increased to 6 lakhs. According to reports, the source said that people are giving it a good response and its downloads increased 10 times on Tuesday.

According to official data, till now this app has been downloaded 1.5 crore times. Let us tell you that on November 28, the government had ordered the companies that this app should be preloaded in new smartphones to prevent cyber threats and fraud. Orders were given to push this app through the software app in the phones already sold.
There is controversy on this issue
The government has made this app mandatory for smartphones. There is opposition to the order regarding this. Opposition parties and critics say that through this decision the government wants to keep an eye on people’s phones. As the controversy escalated, the government clarified that users can delete this app if they wish. Tech giant Apple has also made it clear that it will not follow this order of the government.

Sanchar Sathi is a centralized mobile security platform and app. With its help, lost or missing mobile phones can be blocked on all networks. On this, it can be seen through IMEI number whether a phone is real or fake. Apart from this, this platform does many things including seeing all the numbers linked to an ID, reporting suspicious and spam calls and helping the police in locating stolen phones.
