On Wednesday, ICC has released the latest rankings, in which Virat Kohli has gained in ODI Batting Ranking. In the first match of the ongoing ODI series (IND vs SA ODI) against South Africa, Virat played a brilliant century of 135 runs. Virat has now once again come one step closer to becoming the world’s number-1 batsman. Currently Rohit Sharma is the number-1 batsman in ODIs.
Virat has advantage in ranking
Virat has benefited from his century innings against South Africa, due to which he has now moved up to fourth position with the gain of one place. He has achieved fourth position by defeating Shubman Gill. Virat’s rating points have reached 751, while Rohit Sharma, who is at number one, has 783 rating points.
4 Indians among top-10 batsmen
Let us tell you that there are four Indian batsmen in the top-10 of the ODI batting rankings. Rohit Sharma is at the first place, while Virat Kohli is at the fourth place and the regular captain of the Indian ODI team, Shubman Gill is at the fifth place. The fourth Indian batsman in the top-10 is Shreyas Iyer, who remains at number nine in the rankings.

Kuldeep Yadav has also gained in bowling rankings in ODI format. Kuldeep has now moved up one place to sixth place in the ODI bowling rankings. Virat had recently scored the 52nd century of his ODI career and 83rd century of his international career.
