In the list of Indian cricketers, big names like Mayank Agarwal, KS Bharat, Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Hooda, Venkatesh Iyer, Prithvi Shaw, Shivam Mavi, Navdeep Saini, Chetan Sakariya and Rahul Tripathi are included in the auction. It is believed that he wants to get the form and rhythm to be a part of Australia’s T20 team in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
Australian wicketkeeper Josh Inglis is also in the registration list. However, his availability is uncertain due to marriage. Despite this, he has kept his hopes of returning to IPL alive by giving his name in the auction.
Which team has the biggest purse?
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has the biggest strength before the auction. They have released many big players including Andre Russell, Venkatesh Iyer, after which they have the maximum amount left in their purse. Russell may have retired from cricket, but he will continue to play the role of power coach in KKR.
