Imran Khan’s party PTI is preparing for massive protests in Islamabad and Rawalpindi today.

Pakistan government has imposed Section 144 in Rawalpindi. This decision has come amid rumors of the death of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and fear of unrest in the country.

Under this, any public meeting, rally, procession, dharna, demonstration, gathering of 5 or more people has been completely banned from 1st to 3rd December. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Hasan Waqar has issued an order in this regard.

In the order, carrying of weapons, sticks, slingshots, petrol bombs and explosive materials has been banned. Apart from this, giving hate speeches, trying to remove police barricades, two people sitting on the back of a motorcycle and using loudspeakers have also been completely banned.

The ban comes after Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) decided to hold massive protests outside the Islamabad High Court and in Rawalpindi (Adiala Jail) on Tuesday.

Claim- Suspicious organization bent on disturbing law and order

The order said that the District Intelligence Committee has reported that some organizations and elements are planning to disturb law and order by gathering people on a large scale.

These people can attack sensitive targets, government buildings and selected places, hence these restrictions are being imposed to maintain public safety and peace.

PTI leader said – failed to implement court order, not able to meet Imran

PTI leader Asad Qaiser said that opposition MPs from both houses of the Parliament will protest outside the Islamabad High Court and then take their protest to Adiala Jail.

He said, “The decision to protest has been taken because the court has failed to implement its order and the jail administration is also not ready to follow the court orders.”

Last week, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister staged a protest outside the jail after he was prevented from meeting Imran Khan for the eighth time. Similarly, Khan’s family members have not been allowed to meet him for several weeks.

Minister of State for Justice said – Preparation to impose President’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Earlier, Pakistan’s Minister of State for Justice Akil Malik said on Monday, ‘The condition of security and administration in Pakhtunkhwa has become very bad.’ The Pakistan government is considering imposing President’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

According to Geo News, Malik said, ‘Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is failing miserably in improving the situation there. He is neither keeping any coordination with the central government nor taking any action at necessary places.

Afridi was beaten by the police on the orders of the army

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) state Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, who had reached Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail to support Imran Khan, was beaten by the police by throwing him on the road on November 27.

According to media reports, the attack on CM Sohail Afridi was carried out on the orders of the army. When Afridi reached the jail on Thursday, there was heavy security deployed there and the crowd of PTI supporters was continuously increasing. The situation worsened with his arrival.

The police stopped him and the leaders accompanying him from moving forward. During the scuffle, the policemen also kicked and punched the CM and threw him on the ground. PTI has described this incident as an attack on democratic rights.

CM Sohail Afridi was protesting to allow him to meet former PM Imran Khan.

Afridi had threatened big protests

Afridi says that the government will have to give correct answers to all the questions raised regarding the health and safety of Imran Khan. If this is not done then they will be forced to take to the streets along with the public.

Afridi alleged that the government was not giving correct information about Imran Khan’s condition. He warned that if anything happens to Imran Khan, the responsibility for its consequences will be entirely on the present government.

He took a dig at Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir and said that he is responsible for the deteriorating situation in the country. Afridi says that blocking access to Imran Khan and hiding information about his health is a betrayal of public trust.

Imran’s son said – Father has been kept alone in ‘death cell’ for 6 weeks

Rumors of Imran Khan’s death have intensified in the last few days. On Thursday, Imran Khan’s son Qasim Khan had asked for proof of his father being alive.

Qasim wrote on X that his father was arrested 845 days ago. For the last 6 weeks he has been kept alone in a ‘death cell’.

Qasim said that his aunt was also not being allowed to meet his brother. All this is not due to any safety rule, but is a deliberate action. The government is hiding the real condition of his father.

Controversy started due to rumor of Imran Khan’s death

This whole controversy flared up further when a few days ago Chief Minister Afridi sat on a dharna throughout the night. The reason was that he was not allowed to meet PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan for the eighth consecutive time.

Many ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and hundreds of PTI workers were also present with him. The protest continued throughout the night and Fajr prayers were offered outside the jail in the morning. The next day, while ending the strike, the CM announced that now he will go to Islamabad High Court.

Rumors of Imran Khan’s death have intensified in the last few days. Imran Khan’s son Qasim Khan and his sisters are continuously demanding permission from the administration to meet them and proof of Imran being alive. At the same time, Imran Khan’s party PTI is continuously protesting.
