What exactly is enumeration form?
This form is used to update and verify the voter list. BLOs collect this information by going door-to-door to ensure that no eligible citizen is left out of the voter list and no wrong data is entered. This process is very important for the Election Commission because the voter list for the upcoming elections is based on it.
How to check form status from mobile
If the BLO has not yet reached you to fill the form, then you can also fill it online. At the same time, if you have submitted the form then its status can be checked from mobile. For this, you have to open the website by searching Sarkari CSC on the internet, where in the section named ‘Government Work’, the option related to SIR form is available. Here new users have to first complete registration by entering their mobile number, email and captcha.
You can select your state by going to the ‘Fill Enumeration Form’ option that appears after login and after entering the EPIC number and submitting it, you can find out whether the form has been submitted or not. If “Your form has already been submitted” appears on the screen, then your form has been successfully accepted. Non-appearance of this message means that the form has not been submitted yet. In such a situation, you should contact the BLO of your area and get information.
Process to fill online enumeration form
If you want to fill the online form yourself, then for this you will have to go to the voter service portal voters.eci.gov.in. Here there is an option to login in the Special Intensive Revision – 2026 section in which you can enter with your EPIC number, mobile or email. After this, in the given form, you have to select your state and enter the EPIC number, after which your voter details and information related to BLO opens in front of you.
At this step you can check important information like your name, serial number, part number, assembly or Lok Sabha constituency. To proceed further, you have to complete OTP verification by entering the mobile number.
It is important to keep the Aadhaar card with you while filling the form because the final verification is completed only through the Aadhaar number and the OTP received on the mobile linked to it. After submitting the form, you get SIR 2026 Receiver Slip which can be kept safe for future needs.
