Amidst the recent discussions regarding the health of US President Donald Trump, the White House released an important medical update on Monday. It was told that Trump had undergone a preventive MRI scan of the heart and stomach during his regular health checkup in the month of October, all the results of which were found to be completely normal. According to an official memo issued by Dr. Sean Barbabella, the President’s physician, the test was part of an age-appropriate preventive screening that is routinely conducted for men in the senior age group.

Dr. Barbabella explained in the memo that the purpose of advanced MRI imaging is to identify potential health problems early and ensure that the President remains healthy in the long term. He wrote that this imaging was completely preventive so that any possible problem could be identified and prevented in advance and the overall health condition could be evaluated. According to the doctor, all the imaging reports related to Trump’s heart and stomach are absolutely normal, in which no indication of any kind of complication or concern was found.

The White House released this memo at a time when Donald Trump himself had said a day earlier that he would make the MRI results public. Earlier, the White House avoided clarifying why and on which part this MRI was done, due to which a lot of speculation was being made. However, as soon as the memo was released on Monday, White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said, “We feel that this description is sufficient.”
While talking to reporters on Sunday, Trump had said that the MRI results were perfect. He also jokingly said that he did not remember which part of the MRI was done, but it was definitely not of the brain, because recently he took a cognitive test and got a perfect score in that too.
