The NIA, which is investigating the Faridabad module of Jaish-e-Mohammed and the Delhi bomb blast incident, on Monday searched the house of Dr. Shaheen in Kandahari Bazaar of the capital. The team interrogated his father and brother Shoaib for about 5 hours and recovered some documents and electronic gadgets. However, NIA did not investigate by visiting the house of Dr. Shaheen’s brother Dr. Parvez in Madianv.
Actually, NIA had interrogated four accused associated with Faridabad module by taking them on custodial remand for ten days. All of them were presented before the court in Delhi last Saturday and a request was made to extend the remand period. After the court extended the remand period of all four by 10 more days, on Monday, NIA raided more than 10 locations of the accused and their close relatives across the country and collected important evidence.
