Kuldeep Yadav Created New World Record: The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and South was played on Sunday i.e. November 30, 2025 at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi. Kuldeep Yadav played an important role in Team India’s victory by bowling brilliantly in Ranchi ODI. In this high-scoring match, Kuldeep took 4 wickets for 68 runs at an economy of 6.80 in 10 overs. Kuldeep first dismissed Tony De Georgi for 39 runs and sent him to the pavilion. After this, he dismissed Marco Jansen and Matthew Britzke in the space of three balls in the 34th over. These two batsmen had made a partnership of 97 runs in just 68 balls for the sixth innings. Kuldeep dismissed Yansen after playing a quick inning of 70 runs in 39 balls. Soon after, he dismissed Matthew Britzke for 72 runs in 80 balls and Kuldeep got his fourth wicket in the form of Prenelan Subrayen.

Kuldeep broke Shane Warne’s record

Kuldeep Yadav was successful in taking four wickets against South Africa in Ranchi ODI. This was the fourth time that he has taken four wickets in an ODI match. Earlier, Kuldeep had also achieved such a feat in Cape Town and Gakerha in 2018 and in Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi in 2022. Kuldeep has made the record of taking four wickets the maximum number of times against South Africa as a spin bowler. Earlier this record was in the names of Shane Warne and Yuzvendra Chahal.
