Haryana News: The case of gang rape allegations against Haryana BJP President Mohan Lal Badoli is gaining momentum. Now Haryana Minister Anil Vij said on Saturday that gangrape accused Manohar Lal Badoli should resign from the post of BJP state president until he is proven innocent in the case, so that the purity of the party is maintained.
Anil Vij told reporters in Ambala, “Badoli has already claimed that he is innocent. I have full confidence that he (Badoli) will be proved innocent in the investigation by Himachal Pradesh Police, but until Himachal Police proves him innocent. Till then, he should resign from the post of Haryana Pradesh BJP President to maintain the purity of the party.”

‘The allegation of gangrape is serious’
Earlier, Anil Vij had said on January 15 that the allegation of gang rape against Badoli is very serious and the party high command will take cognizance of it. Badoli became the president of BJP’s Haryana unit in July last year.
The woman alleged
Let us tell you that a woman has alleged that Badoli and singer Rocky Mittal raped her in a hotel in Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh. Police have registered an FIR against both of them.
Case registered in Himachal
Police had earlier said that according to the complainant, Badoli and Mittal had made a video of the act and had threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the incident. Badoli and Jai Bhagwan alias Rocky have been named in the FIR lodged on December 13, 2024, in Kasauli in Solan district.
According to the FIR, the woman was staying in a hotel in Kasauli with her ‘boss’ and friend on July 3, 2023, when she met the two accused. According to the FIR, Badoli described himself as a leader while Rocky described himself as a singer.
