This feature of X Chat is going to give a tough challenge to WhatsApp. The Chief Technical Officer of the company has announced this feature of X. Now the communication done by users on X will be completely secure. However, currently this feature has been rolled out only for selected users. Some beta testers can test this feature of X currently.
X Chat upgraded
Apart from the company’s Chief Technical Officer, Elon Musk told through his X post that a new communication stack is being rolled out for X, in which encrypted features will be available in messages, audio-video calls and file transfer. Last month, the company had described X Chat as a standalone platform. Musk has compared the encryption feature of X Chat with Signal and WhatsApp.
According to the report, users who are getting this feature in X Chat are being asked to first create a four-digit PIN. After this they will be able to access the messages of X Chat. Many users have also expressed their displeasure regarding this process. He told that while replying to messages he has to follow second layer authentication.
Many new features rolled out
X developer platform Christopher Park said in his X post that apart from this, the company has also introduced many more products in the last few weeks, which include Grokipedia, X Chat and X API Beta etc. Apart from this, Grok Imagine feature has also been released, in which users can generate 15 second AI video. At the same time, the company is also rolling out X Money and Fully Grown Powered X Feed.
