But now a report has come out, which has shocked everyone. According to ANI, Delhi franchise is in no mood to give captaincy to KL Rahul. She can hand over the command of her team to star spin all-rounder Akshar Patel. Akshar has been with this franchise since 2019.
During this period, he also took command of the team in some matches in the absence of the captain. Now the franchise can make Akshar the permanent captain. Apart from Rahul, the franchise has also bought Faf du Plessis for Rs 2 crore in the mega auction. Du Plessis captained Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) last season.
