The entire family was found dead on Friday morning in Kailashpur Gram Panchayat of Ikauna area of Shravasti district. There was panic among the family members after seeing the dead bodies of the three children along with the couple. There has been a sensation in the village after the incident. Police station in-charge Akhilesh Pandey, CO Bharat Paswan are engaged in investigation on the spot.
There is panic after five dead bodies were found in Majra Liakatpurwa of Kailaspur Gram Panchayat of Ikauna police station area. The mother of deceased youth Siroj Ali told that when the door was not opened for a long time in the morning, she started worrying. He knocked on the door several times but got no response.
After waiting for some time, the younger daughter-in-law and daughter Rabia were called and asked to see. When daughter Rabia looked from the window, all five people were lying on the bed. The mother told that earlier there used to be fights between her son Siroj Ali and his wife Shehnaaz, but now there were no fights. The dead include two daughters including a one and a half year old son.
Died: Roz Ali (35) son Shamshul Haq, Shahnaz (30) wife Rose Ali, Tabassum (06) daughter Rose Ali, Gulnaz (04) daughter Rose Ali and Moin (02) son Rose Ali have died.
On the incident, District SP Rahul Bhati says that prima facie it seems to be a case of the husband strangulating his wife and children to death and then committing suicide by hanging himself. Investigation has revealed that the children died due to inability to breathe. Which happens by strangulation or pressing the mouth with a pillow. According to family members, there was a dispute with his wife regarding going to her maternal home. Many other aspects are also being investigated. The circumstances of death will be clear in the post-mortem report.
