They may have advanced features like tracking power consumption and are more convenient. Their biggest advantage is that electricity consumption can be controlled with better insulation and smart features. In these, one can get the facility of better control and setting the temperature accurately.
Disadvantages of automatic or smart/digital geysers
These geysers may seem a bit complex due to their many features. Their initial cost is very high and due to having more features, repairs are expensive. Those who like technology and want convenience, as well as those who want to adopt smart ways to reduce electricity bills and those who have a big budget can choose such budgets.
So which geyser is beneficial for you?
If your budget is limited and you just want simple and reliable hot water, then a good quality manual geyser is beneficial for you. A geyser will also work which comes with a thermostat to prevent overheating. But if you give priority to advanced controls and electricity savings along with convenience and your budget is good then automatic/smart geyser can be a great and long-term beneficial option.
