Agencies across the country are on alert since the Delhi blast. Despite this, for the last two days, many flights have been receiving bomb threats from the airport. Meanwhile, even today, a flight coming from Toronto, Canada to Delhi received a bomb threat. After this, the plane made a safe landing in the national capital i.e. Delhi. All passengers and crew members on board the aircraft were evacuated safely. At the same time, all the security agencies remained alert at Delhi Airport.
In the morning, Delhi Police received a bomb threat message related to flight AI-188. After this, Bomb Threat Assessment Committee was formed at Delhi Airport. After investigation, the threat was placed in the “non-specific” category. However, the aircraft was thoroughly inspected for security reasons.
Air India statement
Air India spokesperson said that a security alert was issued during the flight coming from Toronto to Delhi. The spokesperson said the crew followed all prescribed safety protocols and the safety of passengers was given top priority. The plane landed safely at Delhi airport at around 3:40 pm.

Passenger security and screening
The airline said all passengers and crew were safely evacuated from the aircraft. The Boeing 777 aircraft was parked at a separate location for investigation. Airport security personnel completed the entire search process as per protocol. The flight duration was approximately 15 hours.
Increased vigilance in the capital
Security has been tightened at all airports after 13 people died in the blast near Red Fort metro station in the national capital on November 10. Mandatory secondary testing has been implemented on all flights. Security agencies are looking at this threat seriously in the backdrop of the recent attack.
Threat to bomb three airports
On Wednesday, some anarchist elements had threatened to blow up Delhi Airport. In this mail, information about planting of bombs in Goa and Chennai airports was also received. After this, all the agencies immediately reached the spot and started investigation. It was revealed that this information was completely fake. At the same time, shortly before this incident, there was information about a bomb being planted in a flight to Varanasi. However, after investigation it was found that this information was also just a rumour.
