Filmmaker Farah Khan recently told that in the film industry, only the person who is more successful is given importance and many times her husband Shirish was ignored in parties.

According to Farah, wherever he went, people would only talk to him and ignore Shirish. She said, “The world is full of people who only pay attention to the person who is more successful at that time. They talk to me and ignore my husband. Neither did I like it, nor did they. So we decided that there is no need to go where it feels uncomfortable. I want him to be happy and calm.”

Farah Khan said these things in Sania Mirza’s YouTube show Serving It Up with Sania. He also told in the show that his outspokenness sometimes creates problems. Farah said that as she has grown older, she has realized that there is no need to tell the truth to every friend all the time, because people in the film industry often get angry quickly.

Farah Khan and Sania Mirza are very good friends. Both often spend time together.

Farah also told that the initial years of her marriage with Shirish were challenging. She said, “Initially there were a lot of fights between us because I wanted him to come everywhere with me openly, but later we understood each other.”

Farah Khan and Shirish became parents to triplets on 11 February 2008 through an IVF process.
