Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that the latest cabinet decisions of the Central Government will strengthen India’s global competitiveness and will play an important role in realizing the goal of self-reliant India. ‘Export Promotion Mission’ and ‘Credit Guarantee Scheme for Exporters’ were approved in the Union Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday.

Let the echo of ‘Made in India’ be heard more rapidly all over the world- PM

Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media platform Cabinet has approved ‘Export Promotion Mission’, which will make India’s exports more competitive, strengthen MSMEs, new and labour-intensive sectors.

He said that this mission will bring all the concerned parties on one platform and create result-based and effective mechanisms. PM Modi further said that the ‘Credit Guarantee Scheme for Exporters’ will enable smooth running of business, increase competition globally and give impetus to the dream of self-reliant India.

Strengthening the identity of ‘Made in India’ – PM

Apart from this, the Cabinet has also decided to rationalize the royalty rates of minerals like graphite, cesium, rubidium and zirconium. All these minerals are considered very important for green energy. The Prime Minister said, ‘This decision will promote stability and self-reliance. This will strengthen the supply chain and create new employment opportunities. With these decisions, the government aims to not only increase the export of its products but also strengthen the identity of ‘Made in India’ in the global market.
