Both phases of assembly elections ended with bumper voting in Bihar. After the end of the second phase of voting on November 11, the exit polls of most of the agencies show the NDA government being formed. Meanwhile, in the exit poll of Axis My India on Wednesday, it has been told how a grand alliance government can be formed in Bihar.
How can a grand alliance government be formed?
According to the exit poll of Axis My India, the Grand Alliance may get 98-118 seats. Whereas Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM may get 0-2 seats and others may get 1-5 seats. In such a situation, if Owaisi’s party wins 2 seats and other 5 candidates support the grand alliance, then Tejaswil Yadav can become the Chief Minister of Bihar. If the Grand Alliance gets 118 seats and other candidates along with AIMIM support it, then the total number of seats will become 125, which is 3 seats more than the majority.
AIMIM had won Amour, Bahadurganj, Bayasi, Jokihat and Kochadhaman seats in the 2020 assembly elections. Of these five MLAs, except Akhtarul Iman, all the other four MLAs had joined RJD.
RJD is the biggest party in Bihar
According to the exit poll of Axis My India, RJD can become the largest party in Bihar. According to the survey, RJD may get 67-76 seats, Congress may get 17-21 seats, VIP may get 3-5 seats, Left parties may get 10-14 seats, IIP may get 0-1 seat, IND may get 0-1 seat.
Although NDA seems to be getting majority in the exit poll of Axis My India, but if we look at all the possibilities then a grand alliance government can also be formed in the state. In this, NDA has been given 121-141 seats, in which BJP has been given 50-56, JDU has been given 56-62, LJP (R) has been given 11-16, HAM has been given 2-3 and RLM has been given 2-4 seats.
