Dhirendra Shastri health update: Dhirendra Shastri has 100 degree fever, know how dangerous it is to ignore it?

Dhirendra Shastri fever: Sanatan Ekta Padyatra of Bageshwar Dham chief Dhirendra Krishna Shastri in Haryana reached its fifth day today on Wednesday (November 12). This journey started from Tumsara village of Palwal, but while moving ahead, Shastri’s health suddenly deteriorated near Khatela Sarai village. He got high fever, due to which he lay down on the road. Doctors were immediately called to the spot. During investigation, his temperature was found to be more than 100 degrees. Doctors advised him to take rest for two days, so that his body could recover completely. However, even after taking medicine and taking rest for some time, Shastri did not stop the padyatra midway and started the journey again. Let us tell you how costly ignoring it can be.

How dangerous can ignoring be?

Taking fever lightly i.e. ignoring it can sometimes prove to be very dangerous. Increasing body temperature in itself is a sign that the body is fighting some infection or fatigue. If the body is not given rest at this time, the situation may worsen. If you keep ignoring it after taking medicine, then the medicine may provide relief for some time. However, the body may have to face a lot of trouble later due to this.

When should you go to the doctor?

According to the Mayo Clinic report, taking fever lightly can be dangerous because it is a sign of some infection or disease in the body. Doctors say that if the body temperature continues to rise or exceeds 103°F (about 39.4°C), then it should not be ignored, but medical advice should be sought immediately. This is a sign that the body is fighting some serious infection or inflammation.

At the same time, a report from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center states that if the fever goes above 105°F (about 40.6°C) or it is accompanied by symptoms like fainting, seizures or difficulty in breathing, then this condition can be very dangerous. In such cases, if timely treatment is not received, it can affect the brain, reduce the functioning of organs and sometimes even be life threatening.

What did the doctor say about your health?

Talking to the media, Dr. Vijendra Singh, who is monitoring his health, said, “Dhirendra Shastri’s health is not well for the last two days. On examination today, his temperature was found to be more than 100 degrees and he also has a problem in his throat.” He has been advised to take rest for at least two to three days, so that he can recover completely. However, despite not feeling well, he continues his march without stopping.
