IND vs SA Series: Now only a few days are left for the big cricket battle between India and South Africa to start. Both the teams will face each other at Eden Gardens, Kolkata from 14th November. With this, a long series of two Tests, three ODIs and five T20 matches will begin. This series is also considered very important from the point of view of the World Test Championship (WTC), because both the teams are currently in the top four in the points table.
Series of two Tests, three ODIs and five T20 matches
A total of 10 matches will be played in this tour between India and South Africa. 2 test matches, 3 ODI and 5 T international matches.
First Test Match: From 14th November at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Second test match: From 22nd November at Barsapada Cricket Stadium, Guwahati. This will be the first test match to be held in Guwahati.
The special thing is that in this test series being held under the Gandhi-Mandela Trophy, a special coin has been issued, on one side of which is the picture of Mahatma Gandhi and on the other side is the picture of Nelson Mandela. This coin will be tossed in both the test matches.
ODI series schedule
After the end of the Test series, three ODI matches will be played. The ODI matches between the two teams will start from November 30.
1st ODI – 30 November, Ranchi
Second ODI – 3 December, Raipur
3rd ODI – 6 December, Visakhapatnam
India would also like to test its preparations for next year’s Champions Trophy through these three matches.
Preparation for World Cup through T20 series
The five-match T20 series between the two teams will start from December 9, which will be a big test for both the teams before the T20 World Cup 2026.
1st T20 – 9 December, Cuttack
Second T20 – 11 December, Chandigarh
3rd T20 – 14th December, Dharamshala
4th T20 – 17 December, Lucknow
Fifth T20 – 19 December, Ahmedabad
Timing and live broadcast of matches
Test Match: Toss at 9 am, play starts at 9:30 am.
ODI: Toss at 1:30 pm, match starts at 2 pm.
T20: Toss at 7 pm, match starts at 7:10 pm.
The live telecast of the entire series between India and South Africa will be on Star Sports Network, while its live streaming can be seen on Jio-Hotstar app.
