US President Donald Trump has retreated from his tough stance till now and said that the country needs foreign skilled people. He believed that America cannot advance its industry and technology by relying only on people who have been unemployed for a long time. In an interview given to a news channel, Trump said that America needs people with expertise in its industries and defense sector. He said, ‘I agree that we should raise the wages of American workers, but we also have to bring this talent. This is necessary to keep America ahead in the world.

Big change in new visa policy
Earlier, the US President had signed an order in the month of September, after which the fees for H-1B visa application were increased significantly. Now for the new visa, instead of $1,500, you will have to pay 1 lakh US dollars (about Rs 83 lakh). This rule will apply to all new applications filed after September 21 or those participating in the 2026 visa lottery. However, people who are already on visa or whose applications have been submitted earlier will not be affected by this new rule.
‘Every unemployed person cannot be taught to make missiles’
When he was asked in the interview that there are already many talented people in America, Trump said, ‘No, it is not so. There are some special skills that we do not have. You cannot directly tell the unemployed, ‘Come, now learn to make missiles.’ They need training and experience.
Gave the example of Georgia – Trump
Giving the example of the state of Georgia, President Trump said that when skilled workers from South Korea were sent back to a Hyundai battery factory there, there were huge problems in production. He said, ‘Making batteries is a very complex and dangerous task. Many explosive incidents occur. People who came from Korea were experts in this work and were teaching the American employees from there. When he was sent, the entire system came to a standstill.

Signs of change in Trump’s stance
This statement of the US President is being considered completely different from his old stance. Earlier, Trump has been taking a tough stance against foreign workers and said that they take away American jobs.
