India-Nepal Border Talks 2025 In Delhi From November 12 To 14, Discuss Border Crimes And Security Cooperation – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

The annual border talks between India and Nepal will start from today i.e. November 12 in Delhi. The meeting will last for three days and will be attended by the chiefs of India’s Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Nepal’s Armed Police Force (APF), top security forces of both the countries. This meeting is being considered special because it will be the first high-level talk between the security agencies of the two countries after the ‘Gen Z’ protest held in Kathmandu in September.

The talks will focus on curbing cross-border crimes, real-time intelligence sharing system and coordinated border management between the two countries. Officials say that this meeting will prove to be an important step towards further strengthening peace and security on the border.

On the Indian side, the meeting will be led by SSB Director General Sanjay Singal, while on the Nepal side, APF Inspector General (IG) Raju Aryal will participate. The discussions will focus on developing effective mechanisms for joint prevention of cross-border crimes, establishing faster and more efficient channels for real-time information sharing and strengthening coordinated border management practices to ensure peace and security along the India-Nepal border, the SSB statement said. The last time such an annual meeting was held in Kathmandu in November 2024. The SSB patrols the 1,751 km long open border between India and Nepal, which is unfenced. Apart from this, this force is also responsible for the security of the 699 km long India-Bhutan border.
