Ujjwal Rana, originally a resident of Bhadal village of Baghpat, was living with his family in Mohalla Khakroban of the town. Before committing suicide, Ujjwal, a second year BA student, had released a video alleging that Principal Pradeep Kumar pulled his hair and even beat him for collecting fees.

Not only this, policemen were called and tortured. On Sunday, District Jat Mahasabha President Dharamveer Balyan along with the workers created a ruckus in front of the college. BKU officials also sat on strike in the police station.
All three policemen were made to line up
Representatives of various organizations also reached Kotwali in the afternoon. After Ujjwal’s death, a complaint was filed again on behalf of his sister Saloni. A case has been registered against college manager Arvind Kumar Garg, Principal Pradeep Kumar, PTI Sanjeev Kumar, Inspector Nand Kishore, constable Gyanveer and Vineet Kumar. All three policemen were sent to the line.

Many videos before and after the incident have gone viral. The video of him being taken to the hospital for treatment has also surfaced. Apart from this, he was also seen in the video of the hospital giving information about the incident that happened to him.
