Us Government Shutdown Ending Close Says President Donald Trump As Deal Reached With Senate Leaders – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live – Us Shutdown: Government shutdown in America close to ending, President Donald Trump said

US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the government shutdown is nearing an end. He claimed that the agreement between the White House and Senate leaders is almost finalized, which will allow the US government to resume functioning.

Trump said in a conversation with reporters that it seems that we are very close to the end of the shutdown. We have never agreed to give money to prisoners or those coming into the country illegally. Democrats have now understood this and are hopeful that the government shutdown will end soon.

Shutdown nearing end

According to CNN report, eight Democratic senators have reached an agreement with Republican leaders and the White House, under which it has been agreed to reopen the government and provide funding to some key agencies. According to the report, the agreement would end the longest shutdown in US history and provide temporary funding to the government until January. The deal reached Sunday night included Senate Majority Leader John Thune, White House representatives, and three former governors, Jeanne Shaheen (New Hampshire), Angus King (Maine) and Maggie Hassan (New Hampshire).

However, the report also says that in this agreement, no guarantee has been given by the Republican leaders to increase health subsidies. Still, Democrats remain hopeful that a deal can be reached in the coming weeks.

The Senate can vote on this proposal between 8:30 and 9 pm (Eastern Time) on Sunday night. After this the bill will go to the House and then come into force after Trump’s signature. Democratic leaders have not yet stated their official stance on this deal. However, some House Democrats called it an ‘unsatisfactory compromise’. If this deal is passed, the US government will resume operations after several days, which will provide relief to millions of employees and services.
