Accused Rohit Arya’s videographer told on Friday (October 31) that he had told his film crew that he was going to shoot a hostage scene involving children, but no one had the slightest idea that he was planning such a thing in real life, which would have such a painful ending.
Videographer Rohan Ahar, who has been working with Arya for the last 10 years, gave a step-by-step description of this entire incident. Ahar told that he had worked together in many campaigns of Arya like ‘Swachhata Monitor’ and ‘Let’s Change’ project. Despite the audition ending on Wednesday, Arya extended it by one more day and told that now the ‘hostage situation with children’ scene has to be shot.

Asked to bring 5 liters of petrol and crackers
Arya had also asked Ahar to bring 5 liters of petrol and crackers, but Ahar did not do so due to the presence of children. When Ahar reached the studio on Thursday morning, the spot boy told that no one was allowed to go upstairs. After some time, Arya himself came down and said that he had to shoot the ‘fire scene’, he had bottles of rubber solution. Then he asked to lock the gate and all the entry points.
After this, Rohit Arya poured rubber solution in front of the children and set them on fire. When the crew tried to stop him, he brandished an air gun and told everyone to stay away. Ahar somehow ran outside and asked people to call the police. Then he tried to take out the children by breaking the window with a hammer, due to which he got injured in his hand. Meanwhile, Arya sprayed pepper, due to which Ahar’s eyes got irritated and he fell down.

Ahar rescued an elderly woman trapped inside who suffered head injuries. Then the police reached the spot and then started talking to the police. Ahr tried to go inside again and get the children out, but four children were still inside. When the police forcibly entered, sounds of firing were heard. According to the police, Rohit Arya fired at them with an air gun, in response to which he was shot in the chest. He was declared dead on reaching the hospital.
