Information about the attack on the vehicle of Minister of State for Social Welfare Sanjeev Singh Gond in Sonbhadra is coming to light. In such a situation, such an incident in Chopan Nagar area has created a stir from administration to political circles.
The news of alleged attack on the vehicle of State Government’s Minister of State for Social Welfare Sanjeev Singh Gond has heated up the politics of the district. It is being told that the minister was returning from Robertsganj to Dala along with District Panchayat member representative Sanjeev Tiwari, when some youths tried to overtake his car near Chopan bridge and allegedly hit the bonnet and glass. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. A case has been registered against one named and two unknown.
Argument over overtake
The police have seized a car with Lucknow number and arrested a person. Giving information about this matter, SP Abhishek Verma said that on the night of 30th October, the Social Welfare Minister and his companions were going from Robertsganj towards Dala, when there was an altercation between the Minister’s Scott car and another car regarding overtaking. Taking immediate action, Chopan police station caught the car number UP32 KP1042. The vehicle owner and driver Ankit Mishra have been arrested, while two other youths in the car, Shubham Soni and Pankaj Agrahari, both residents of Duddhi, are currently absconding.
Police busy searching for the accused
SP Abhishek Verma says that the matter is a dispute over overtaking, yet on the basis of the complaint a case has been registered and other accused are being searched. In this incident, there was an altercation over overtaking between the Scott car and another car in the minister’s convoy. One person has been arrested, while two others are absconding. The police is raiding for whose arrest.
