IND vs AUS 2nd T20: First Canberra, now it may rain in Melbourne too! Will India-Australia match be canceled again?

IND vs AUS 2nd T20: The second match of the T20 series being played between India and Australia is to be played on Friday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Just as rain in Canberra left India’s hopes of victory unfulfilled, now the same danger is looming in Melbourne too. According to the Meteorological Department report, there is every possibility of rain in Melbourne on Friday, due to which the match may be affected again.

Weather becomes ‘villain’ in Melbourne

India had a great start in the first T20 match. Captain Suryakumar Yadav and Shubhman Gill played a fast-paced innings, but rain stopped the game after 9.4 overs. Now fans are hoping that they will get to see the entire match in Melbourne, but the report of Accuweather is saying something else.

According to the report, there is a 87% chance of rain in Melbourne on October 31 and the sky will remain cloudy throughout the day. Along with this, there is also a 17% chance of light rain along with thunderstorms. The match is scheduled to start at 1.45 pm local time, while this match can be watched from 9:15 am Indian time. The interesting thing is that the probability of rain during the match time i.e. in the afternoon is said to be more than 70%. Due to which there may be rainfall of 1.4 mm.

How will be the mood of Melbourne pitch?

Melbourne Cricket Ground has always proved to be of some help to the bowlers. Due to the big field, batsmen find it difficult to play long shots here. However, in recent times, big scores have been seen on this ground in the Big Bash League (BBL). Australian fast bowler Nathan Ellis has also said that batting has now become a little easier on the MCG pitch, due to which a good total can be seen.

If it is cloudy in this match then the bowlers can also get enough swing. In such a situation, both the teams will make strategies keeping in mind the conditions of both weather and pitch.
