Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Gujarat today on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of the country’s iron man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He reached the Statue of Unity in Kevadiya and paid tribute. This program is dedicated to the resolve of “One India, Best India”.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 150th birth anniversary. He said that Patel ji was the main inspiration for the integration of India, who shaped the destiny of the country in its initial phase.
The Prime Minister described Sardar Patel’s unwavering dedication towards national integrity, good governance and public service as an inspiration for generations. Also, he appealed to the countrymen that we all should together carry forward his vision of a united, strong and self-reliant India.
The Prime Minister said that Patel ji’s thinking and his spirit of service is still an example for the development of the country. Like him, we all should work for the unity and development of the country.
After the puja, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the unity parade and national unity oath. In this program, there will be guard of honour, flag march and march past led by the parade commander. This time all the contingents of the parade will be led by women officers. Police, CAPF, NCC and band units will be involved in this.
Cavalry and animal contingents will also take part in the programme, which will include horse, camel and dog units. Along with this, women’s weapon drill, unarmed combat demonstration, martial arts, daredevil motorcycle show and NCC demonstration will thrill the audience.
Tableaux, bands and cultural programs
The tableaux of states and armies will reflect the diversity of India. School bands and cultural programs organized by the Ministry of Culture will also be a part of this grand event. The objective of the program is to spread the message of unity, discipline and patriotism across the country.

Indian Air Force air show and Prime Minister’s address
At the end of the program, the Indian Air Force will present a spectacular air show, which will become a symbol of the strength and unity of the country on the Statue of Unity. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation and repeat Sardar Patel’s message of unity and integrity.
