The cargo ship Fazle Rabbi of Haji and Sons Company in Mandvi, Kutch had left for Dubai from Kismayu port in Somalia. The ship had just reached about eight nautical miles from the port when suddenly it caught fire. This incident happened yesterday afternoon. As soon as the sound of turbo bursting in the engine of the ship was heard, within a few seconds a massive fire spread in it.

All the 16 sailors on board the ship saved their lives by jumping into the sea without any delay. As soon as information about the incident was received, the local coast guard reached the spot. Along with this, the company’s other ship Al Fazal also reached there immediately and all the sailors were taken out safely. Due to this timely action, no one lost their lives.
