The route of the RSS march has been decided, passing through Samrat Circle, APMC Circle, Hanuman Mandir, Marathwadi, Police Station Road, Milan Chowk and Sihinehru Bavi Market Main Road and will culminate in Ram Nagar. During the movement of the road, police force will be deployed on the entire route.

Kharge family’s opposition

The permission for the path movement has been granted at a time when Minister of State Priyank Kharge, who is Mallikarjun Kharge’s son, had recently written to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah demanding a ban on RSS activities in government and aided schools. He had alleged that, ‘RSS is inculcating negative thoughts among children and youth by setting up shakhas in government schools and public places.’ He had also said that if government employees participate in such events then action should be taken against them.

Kharge was elected MLA from Gurmitkal eight times.

After this, the state cabinet decided that any organization will have to take permission from the administration before organizing a program on government property. Recently, some government employees were also suspended for participating in RSS’s path movement. The Congress chief, who is currently a Rajya Sabha MP, was elected MLA from Gurmitkal constituency eight times.
