Delhiites are facing heavy pollution these days. The air in the capital has reached dangerous levels. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Anand Vihar’s air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 409 on Thursday morning, which falls in the severe category. There is a thick layer of fog in the area and visibility has become very low.

The air quality has also become very poor on Lodhi Road, where AQI has been recorded at 325. Truck-mounted water sprinklers have been deployed here to reduce pollution.

The condition around AIIMS is also bad. Here in the drone visuals, a thick layer of fog is visible all around. According to CPCB data, AQI 276 has been recorded in this area, which falls in the poor category.

The air condition near India Gate is also worrying. The AQI recorded here was 319, which is in the ‘very poor’ category.

At the same time, AQI in ITO area has reached 359, due to which complaints of burning sensation in eyes and difficulty in breathing have started increasing among the common people.
