Hardeep singh Nijjar case khalistani terrorist murder case all four Indians accused granted bail in canadian court Justin Trudeau

Hardeep Nijjar Case: The Justin Trudeau government has suffered a major setback in the Hardeep Singh Nijjar murder case. The Supreme Court of Canada has released all four accused in the case on bail pending the legal hearing. According to media reports, three of the four defendants appeared before the Supreme Court through video, while the fourth was represented by a lawyer.

These accused got bail

Now the next hearing on this matter will be on February 11, 2025. On June 18, 2023, Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead in the parking lot of a Gurudwara in British Columbia. Karan Brar, Kamalpreet Singh, Karanpreet Singh and Amandeep Singh were made accused in this case.

The Nijjar massacre became a cause of major controversy in the relations between India and Canada, when Canadian PM Justice Trudeau accused India of involvement in this murder. “For the past few weeks, Canadian security agencies have been actively investigating credible allegations of a possible connection between Indian government agents and the murder of Nijjar,” he said in Parliament on September 18, 2023.

Canada accused India

India strongly rejected this allegation and Canada never presented any evidence regarding it. The release of the four accused in this case may increase the problems for Justin Trudeau, who has announced his resignation from the post of PM and President of the Liberal Party. However, he will remain on the post of Prime Minister until the new leader of the Liberal Party is elected. The Trade Minister of the Government of Canada had said that her country will not resume trade talks with India unless it cooperates in the investigation of the murder of Sikh separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
