IPhone will stop working, danger of hacking is hovering over millions of users, government released alert

If you use iPhone, then there is definitely to be cautious. In fact, the government agency Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in) has released warning for all users using Apple devices in India. It says that such security flaws have been found in Apple devices, taking advantage of which hackers can make a dent in your device. Because of this, the iPhone can stop working and the process can be corrupted till the process memory.

The risk of hacking on these devices

The iPhone users running on the old version from Apple iOS / iPados 26.0.1 are facing a danger of hacking. Apart from this, there is a higher risk of hacking on the device running on Macos Tahoe 26.0.1 from the older version of Macos Sequoia and 26.0.1 of Visionos. Such security flaws have been found in these old versions, due to which any person or company device can be targeted. According to CERT-in, the risk level of this flaw is medium and it can be used to tamper with data. Once the target is targeted, the affected device will stop working and the apps will continue to crash again and again. According to Warning, this flaw has come due to the out-of-bound right issue.

Now what is the way to users?

The entire impact of this security flaw is visible on the old version. That is, there is more danger to users running their devices on the old version. To avoid any such danger, first update the operating system. It is usually advised to keep your devices updated to avoid any hacking or cyber threat. If you do not want to update the device manually, then you can enable automatic updates by going to the settings.
