The Aviation Safety Bureau (BCAS) has directed all concerned agencies and parties to tighten the security system at all airports and airports in the country. The move has been taken in view of the possible threat from the terrorist group between 22 September to 2 October 2025.
The BCAS issued an advisory saying, “According to information received from the Central Security Agency recently, some anti -social elements or terrorist organizations may threaten airports between September 22 to October 225. Keeping this in mind, safety measures should be tightened on all airports, airstrips, airport areas, air force stations and all aviation units like helipad.

According to sources, this advisory has been released on the basis of an intelligence information. This information is related to the suspicious activities of a terrorist organization in Pakistan. In this advisory on August 4, the BCAS has also said that it is necessary to continuously maintain coordination with the local police, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Intelligence Bureau (IB) and other concerned agencies.
The BCAS has also said that if any kind of intelligence or warning is received, it should be shared immediately with all the concerned parties, so that timely action can be taken. As part of safety measures, the BCAS has clearly stated that the identity of all employees, contractors and visitors working at airports should be tightened. In addition, all CCTV cameras are working perfectly and they should be constantly monitored.
