An 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Russia’s eastern region Kamchatka Island has damaged an atomic submarine hideout here. The earthquake was the sixth largest earthquake in the world.

Pictures of a satellite imaging company named Planet Labs showed that a floating pierce (floating ghat) at the base has been damaged. A part of Pierce is broken from its base and separated.

However, no evidence of any other major damage has been found in satellite photographs. Russia’s Ministry of Defense has not yet made any statement on this.

The earthquake on Wednesday issued a tsunami warning to French Polynesia and Chile. This was followed by an explosion in the most active volcano of Kamchatka.

Two years after Imran Khan’s arrest, PTI will protest across the country

Today, two years of arrest of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan have been completed. According to Geo News, on this occasion, Imran’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to protest across the country.

Precautionary Rawalpindi district administration has implemented Section 144 from August 4 to August 10 to maintain law and order. There will be a complete ban on gathering, rally, picket or demonstration of more than four people.

5.5 magnitude earthquake, light shocks were felt in Jalal-Abbey, Kyrgyzstan

A 5.5 magnitude earthquake occurred today at Jalal-Abbey Oblast in Kyrgyzstan. According to the European-Mediterranean Cymological Center (EMSC), the earthquake was at a depth of 7 km.

According to preliminary information, the epicenter of the earthquake was near Jalal-Abbey and also felt it in the surrounding areas. However, there is no news of major damage from this.
